About Me
I was first introduced to the plants and holistic healing by my mother, who took me to Kristine Brown's herbal study classes in IL, starting at age 7. Around the same time, she introduced me to yoga and taught me to meditate. Through primitive skills gatherings, I continued to deepen my connection to nature and community. With each plant walk, workshop, yoga class, and event, I solidified my desire to find a career that would keep me connected to the land and my community. After finishing my 200 hour yoga teacher training and graduating from college as a Physical Therapy Assistant, I moved to GA in 2022 and started working full time as a PTA. Soon after, I enrolled in Patricia Howell's herbal foundations course. A feral forest fairy at heart, I couldn't be away from the plants long. I quickly realized my passion for clinical herbalism and went on to study with herbalists Kat Maiers, Leslie Williams, Leslie Alexander, and Susan Edwards. Although I loved working as a PTA, and my patients brought me such joy, I felt something was missing. I wasnt able to find a work life balance that truly aligned with my own goals and held all of me. While being a PTA meets some of my needs, doing it full time leaves little time for things like herbalism, creative outlets, and movement. I felt I was cramming all of these other parts of myself into just a few hours a week. In the fall of 2025, I quite my job and started to embark on creating a life that could hold ALL of me, not just one part. This has led me to Cora Rose Wellness, LLC, where I weave all I have learned along the way together and have the joy of supporting you do the same.
Outside of coaching clients, I spend time apprenticing and volunteering with the 501c3 Fleur and Forage Free Clinic in both ATL and Athens, GA and working at New Earth Nursery to keep my connection to the plants and my community. I am currently working towards becoming a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach as well as Registered Herbalist.
I have spent over 10 years learning to tend a body that often hurts, feels weak, and fragile. My personal practice has changed a lot over time, shifting from traditional yoga on the mat to more strength building/weight training, stabilization, nervous system regulation, Pilates and living the 8 limbs of Yoga philosophy in my daily life off the mat. As I work to cultivate my own inner peace, I hope to let it be a gift to the World.
The first limb of Yoga is the four Yamas, Ahimsa being the first. It is the foundation, and translates to meaning non-violence in thought, word, action, behavior, and attitude towards yourself and others. I bring this with me into each coaching session, showing up with compassion and acceptance, leaving no room for judgement. While yoga philosophy may never be part of our time together, it feels important to share this part of myself with you, as I ask both myself and my clients to arrive to sessions with presence and honesty. I look forward to supporting you along your journal of self growth.
Namaste - The light within me sees and honors the light within you.

Ultimately we have just one moral duty to reclaim large areas of peace in ourselves, more and more peace, and to reflect it towards others.
And the more peace there is in us, the more peace there will also be in our world.
